Our kids favorite desert is anything as long as it has chocolate in it. They would eat chocolate for breakfast, lunch and dinner if my husband and I allowed it. I usually prepare some chocolate treat for them once a week and its usually on the weekends when I have more time on my hands to go creative. However, last weekend I didnt have enough time to spend a few hours on chocolate desserts, so I quickly browsed the web for an easy recipe. Thats how I found out about Instructables mug brownies. The mug brownies are nothing more than brownies in a mug. Even though they are no rocket science, they are funnier for kids, since they come in mugs and not the boring old rectangles. What you need to stock up on in order to prepare the delicious mug brownies are flour, sugar, cocoa powder, vegetable oil, salt, water, and as many mugs as youd like. The recipe posted on Instructables is actually intended for one mug only, which means that you wont have to worry about using a recipe that will end with more or less chocolate brownies than youd need. Once you mix all of the ingredients together in your mug and youre sure there are no clumps left behind, its time to put the mug in the microwave and cook it. I found this recipe quite useful, because I didnt have to use any baking tins, spread out the chocolate evenly, wait for the brownies to be baked and then cut them in rectangles and place them in dishes. The mug brownies are super easy, fast and mess-free.
